Ovacome is a UK based charity established in 1996, by an ovarian cancer patient named Sarah Dickinson. We provide support and information for all those affected by ovarian cancer. The charity offers our 5,000+ members with a supportive community by way of a detailed website, an informational leaflet series, a nurse helpline which puts members in touch via a phone buddy system and the organisation of regular fund raising events. Ovacome are leading advocates, successfully campaigning for change, to promote earlier diagnosis in symptomatic women and better ongoing treatment of the disease.
